International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS) Empty Re: International Association for Near-Death Studies (IANDS)

One of the websites I routinely refer seekers to, often more interested in the near death experience than they are in investigating and learning about life, death and what follows - the principle of survival.

NDE is often mistakenly seen as a window into life after death.  Sometimes it gives hints at what follows but is often mistaken for something more definitive.

Oops! What a Face  - On carrying out my regular check through the forums, making sure everything is up to date, etc, - I deleted the entry for IANDS, realising that the site is not, nor does it contain - a forum, as such.
I hadn't realised that a reply had already been made to the opening post, so now mac's reply has jumped into the OP slot.  facepalm   Really sorry about that,  mac. rabbit   In the circumstances, I'm putting the link back in now, so as not to confuse matters any further.

Dr. Mary Neal is a spinal surgeon with an adventurous side. She used to think that near-death experiences could be written off by science – caused by lack of oxygen or certain drugs. But on a kayaking trip down the rapids she becomes trapped under water for 27 minutes – and changes her mind. T. Scott Marr was on life support. His family is told that he had a massive stroke, and brain death is inevitable. They pull the plug. Then, he wakes up – and has an amazing story to tell. Everyone has a perception of death – but what really happens when we die? For thousands of years, the dreams and visions of the dying have captivated cultures. But what are they, what causes them? And are they real? This episode also includes IANDS co-founder, former IANDS President and Near-Death Experience Researcher, Dr. Bruce Greyson, current IANDS President, Dr. Diane Corcoran, Dr. Sam Parnia and Maggie Callanan, RN.

As the horrible saying goes "not a problem!"  Laughing

I had to piece my way from the email message to here  and had forgotten this site existed!  Haven't visited in a while and this was a useful reminder it's here....

    Hi mac, Very Happy
Today was the first chance I had for a while now to check through all the websites to make sure they were all up to date. (Busy with other forums and the Covid-19 updates, etc).

I find that quite a few of the forums have since closed down - still trawling through with the updates.  So far, I've only just managed to check out the forums in the Paranormal category .... there's still a lot more to get through...
